Construction permits are required for new construction, additions, alternations, roofing, siding, pools (in-ground/above-ground), decks, sheds, satellite dish antennas, fences, radon mitigation, driveways, etc. Electrical, plumbing, and fire subcode permits are necessary based on the type of work being done.
Our construction and subcode officials are available to assist you with any problems you may encounter.
Construction Department hours: Monday - Friday 9:00 AM -2:00PM. John deJager, Construction Official, is available on Tuesday and Thursday 12:30 P. M. - 3:30 P. M.
REMINDER – A zoning permit must be obtained prior to the issuance of a construction permit.
